Cheaper CI, without running your own fleet
DiscountRunners.io runs your GitHub Actions jobs on short-lived Google Cloud Spot VMs that we provision, secure and tear down for you. You keep your workflows; we replace the machine they run on.
Managed GitHub Actions runners
Drop-in self-hosted runners for Linux x64, from 2 to 16 vCPU on current AMD EPYC (C4D) machines. Install our GitHub App, change runs-on, and jobs start on our fleet.
Open-books pricing
We publish what every runner costs us, region by region, next to what we charge. A price may never exceed 1.3× our cost, and our CI refuses a price book that breaks that rule.
Isolated by design
Each job gets its own fresh VM with no cloud credentials, no inbound network access and a single-use runner token. The VM is deleted when the job ends; nothing is shared between jobs or customers.
Prepaid, no subscription
Top up with a card through Stripe and spend down per second. No seats, no monthly minimum, no commitment. Credit never expires, and every account has a concurrency limit and an optional daily spending cap.
Preemptions are on us
Spot capacity can be reclaimed. When that happens we refund the interrupted run and re-run the job on a standard VM, so a preemption costs you time, never money.
Claude Code runners Coming soon
The same isolated, per-job VMs for running Claude Code sessions and agents, using your own Anthropic credentials. We never resell Claude usage or store your Claude sign-in.
What we don't do yet
- Linux x64 only: no ARM, macOS or Windows runners.
- US regions only (us-central1, us-east1, us-west1).
- No dependency or Docker layer cache beyond what your workflow brings.
- No uptime SLA during early access.

Install the GitHub App
Choose the organization or account, and the repositories that may use our runners. We see workflow job events for those repositories, never your other code.

Jobs run from a prepaid balance, topped up through Stripe Checkout. The minimum top-up is $50.

Built by a team that needed it
We started DiscountRunners.io after building our own Spot-VM runner fleet to cut our CI bill, and found it worked well enough to offer to everyone.
We are a small company in Solana Beach, California. Our operations are run by software agents first, our community second and people third, which keeps our overhead low enough to price at cost plus a capped margin. The ledger is append-only and is your balance of record, so every charge can be traced to the job and the second it ran.
